LIQUID CRYSTAL POLYMERS USING LOWER COST MONOMERS
We were the original co-inventors of Xydar, the world's first liquid crystal polymer. Since that time, we developed several new generations of high temperature materials, for Chisso Corporation, Mitsubishi Yuka and SNIA, BPD.
We currently have a newer series of materials ready for commercialization. Total world demand for these specialty high temperature polyesters is approximately $50-60 million per year.
